On July 25, 2026, at the Abbey of Luxeuil (Luxeuil-les-Bains), Lynda Lemay reunites with Jean-Félix Lalanne for a duo conceived as a genuine conversation between two guitars. On one side, Lemay’s lyric-driven songs—her everyday-life stories, her characters, her refrains that go straight to the point; on the other, Lalanne’s acoustic playing, precise and taut, nourished by folk, jazz, and a few more classical detours.
The show draws on titles by Lynda Lemay, old as well as new, rearranged to leave space for the strings and for silences, and to foreground the writing (the lyrics). Lalanne does not merely accompany: he pushes, colors, responds, sometimes takes the lead, and Lemay’s voice mingles with it with evident pleasure. A tight, no-frills format, where emotion arises from the encounter and from the duo’s dynamic.
