Stefan Gwildis: That was just moments ago — 50 years on stage. Together with his musical director and producer Tobias Neumann at the piano, Gwildis presents his versatile repertoire. A personal solo evening with a mix of hits, visuals, and spontaneous improvisations, as well as anecdotes and stories worth telling from nearly fifty years on stage.
Porter, sunbed poser, dockside idler and lyric reciter, factory occupier, occasional Santa Claus, and Germany's answer to George Clooney — what has Stefan Gwildis not been? He is all of it, at least in some sense, and again and again. In whatever way suits him at the moment. And Stefan Gwildis has always enjoyed many things. A variety of things that have led to even more ideas and, ultimately, to many stories worth telling. Enough for a full evening: “That was just moments ago — 50 years on stage” is far more than a concert; it is a mixture of hits and treasures yet to be unearthed, of visuals and anecdotes, of songs and scenes; a sonorous showcase, a multimedia yet distinctly analog revue of Gwildis's body of work.
