Fat Dog lands in Bristol on 3 October 2026 for an instore date, part live set and autograph signing session, at Rough Trade Bristol. Formed in London in 2020 around Joe Love before becoming a five-piece, the band first made a name for itself through the intensity of its live performances, then on opening tours with Sports Team, Yard Act or Viagra Boys, before signing with Domino Records.
On stage, Fat Dog walks the tightrope between post-punk, dance-punk and upfront electronic music: taut synths, pulses edging toward the rave, and that little sideways step that can even tilt toward klezmer, notably carried by the saxophone. This date marks the release of their new album Cancel Me (I’m Tired), an opportunity to revisit this nerve-wracking and physical blend, conceived to move as much as to strike.
