Five years after the breakthrough with Miss Colombia, Lido Pimienta returns with La Belleza — an album that fuses her roots in Colombia's Caribbean culture with a new focus on orchestrated, European-inspired composition. The Barranquilla-born, Canada-based artist has long moved between art pop, electronic textures, and Afro-Colombian traditions such as Cumbia and Bullerengue. On La Belleza she approaches this mix differently: less as a stylistic exercise, more as a logical continuation of her curiosity, her stubbornness, and her desire to push boundaries. In her songs Pimienta addresses identity, Indigenous and Black perspectives, desire, loss, ceremony, and origins — very physical, very concrete, without getting lost in grand gestures. La Belleza sounds simultaneously intimate and expansive, as if she places private stories into larger spaces. On November 10, 2026, Lido Pimienta brings this new phase of her work to Berlin with the 'La Belleza Caribenya Tour 2026' at Bi Nuu.
