Saves The Day are bringing back on stage one of their most pivotal records with the band's 25th anniversary tour of Stay What You Are. Born in New Jersey in the mid-1990s and still led by Chris Conley, the band has carved its path between melodic punk and American emo, moving from the urgency of their early days to writing that is more open and melodic, without losing the bite of the guitars.
Released in 2001, Stay What You Are marks precisely this turning point: catchy choruses, a subtler tension, songs designed to be sung in unison without slipping into easy clichés. On stage, this anniversary reinterpretation brings back to the fore that moment when Saves The Day broadened their palette, while preserving the energy that has earned them a place in the punk/indie scene.
