Info

If you crave instrumental music that plays like a precisely cut beat track, Polyphia will come to the Tempodrom in Berlin on December 5, 2026. The Texas quartet — Tim Henson and Scott LePage on guitars, Clay Gober on bass, Clay Aeschliman on drums — has evolved from an early metal/shred approach into a hybrid of its own: prog riffs, funk grooves, hip-hop and trap-inspired rhythms, together with pop hooks and electronic textures. From “Inspire” through “New Levels New Devils” to “Remember That You Will Die,” their music thrives on rapid stylistic shifts, ultra-clean technique, and arrangements that sound more produced than traditional rock.

On the bill is RJ Pasin, who, as a guitarist and producer from New York, bridges metalcore and deathcore with hyperpop, Jersey drill, and R&B. His tracks play with hard breaks, heavy riffs, and suddenly airy melodies—a sound that has quickly circulated online with pieces like “Lobster.”

Also on the lineup: Perturbator, aka James Kent. The Paris-born producer has for years fused darksynth and synthwave with industrial hardness and metal sensibilities. His “nocturnal” sequences, icy textures, and driving beats have increasingly shifted away from retro aesthetics toward a sharper, post-punk direction — most recently with “Age of Aquarius” (2025).
