If you’re into sunlit indie pop with a real groove underneath, almost monday are bringing their West Coast energy to The Pearl in Vancouver on October 14, 2026. The San Diego trio, led by singer Dawson Daugherty alongside bassist Luke Fabry and guitarist Cole Clisby, has a knack for mixing crisp guitars, bouncy rhythms and subtle funk touches into tracks built for moving without forcing it.
Their sound sits between alternative pop and breezy surf-adjacent vibes, with melodies that stick and lyrics that stay close to everyday stuff: relationships, late-night thoughts, the push and pull of growing up. After the early EPs don’t say you’re ordinary (2020) and til the end of time (2021), almost monday have kept sharpening their punchy, dance-friendly approach on stage, where the tight rhythm section and bright hooks really land. With special guests rounding out the night, it’s set up like the kind of show that goes from easygoing to properly kinetic, song by song.
