Info
Idaho-born singer and songwriter Maddie Zahm brings her intimate, self-written pop to King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow on 13 September 2026. Known for weaving autobiographical detail into piano-led ballads and indie-tinged hooks, she first drew attention with an American Idol audition before releasing her first album, People Pleaser, in 2020. A period of reset sharpened her writing around body image, religious pressure and sexuality, themes that shaped the 2022 EP You Might Not Like Her, with tracks like Fat Funny Friend, If It’s Not God and the title song. On stage, Zahm leans into exposed vocals and uncluttered arrangements, letting melodies and lyrics carry the weight without ornament. The set moves between hushed confession and clean pop release, sketching a path from early material to more recent songs with a steady, candid tone. Special guests will open the night, setting the mood for a show where storytelling sits at the centre and the dynamics stay close to the bone.
