Info
Kingfishr, an Irish trio formed in Limerick by singer-guitarist Eddie Keogh together with McGoo and Fitz, arrives in Madrid on 25 November 2026 at Sala Lab/Wagon, Estación de Chamartín. Their approach blends melodic folk with touches of alternative rock and an indie-pop pulse, featuring well-blended vocal harmonies, acoustic guitars up front and restrained percussion. The lyrics look toward landscapes, family ties and that passage into adulthood that runs through their repertoire.
Since the early 2020s, the group has been unveiling their world song by song, with singles such as 'Flowers-Fire' and 'Anyway', where wide choruses and crescendos that lift each track without artifice are recognizable. Live, they have refined a simple, intimate dynamic after moving from small venues to festivals across Ireland and the United Kingdom. On this Madrid date, the trio lays out that repertoire built step by step: layered voices, arrangements that let the melodies breathe, and a natural balance between intimacy and forward momentum—designed to work both up close and with the band in full flight.
