Dizzee Rascal « We Want Bass Tour »

Dizzee Rascal brings his We Want Bass tour to the Columbia Theater in Berlin on 12 October 2026. Raised in Bow, East London, he helped shape the emerging grime scene in the early 2000s through pirate radio and the Roll Deep collective. With “I Luv U” and his debut Boy in da Corner he established a sound defined by tightly timed flow and angular, dry beats that sit between UK garage, bassline and British rap. He followed with Showtime and Maths + English, then explored more open pop and dance directions around Tongue n’ Cheek, collaborating with the likes of Calvin Harris, Basement Jaxx and Florence + The Machine. Later he refocused on the raw core: Raskit, E3 AF and 2024’s Don’t Take It Personal revisit the London sound without losing the clubby edge.

On stage, Dizzee mixes early grime cuts with new material, shifting between rapid spoken delivery, compact hooks and heavy basslines. The set centres on functional, bass-focused productions and tight transitions that have defined his style since the beginning. An evening that condenses the breadth of his catalogue — from the first Bow tapes to the current tracks of the We Want Bass phase.
