Wheeler Walker Jr. brings Pullin’ Out: The Farewell Tour to Coors Event Centre in Saskatoon on April 4, 2027. The alter ego of Lexington-born comedian, actor and writer Ben Hoffman, Walker plays it straight as a country singer while pushing everything sideways with satire. First seen in a 2013 sketch on The Ben Show, the character turned into a full-on recording project with Redneck Shit in 2016, produced by Dave Cobb, then Ol’ Wheeler (2017), WW III (2018), Sex, Drugs & Country Music (2022) and Ram (2023).

Musically, it’s rooted in traditional and outlaw country with a streak of country rock and Nashville-minded arrangements. Lyrically, it’s openly sexual and deliberately crude, using parody and shock to twist classic honky-tonk storytelling. That tension between familiar forms and comic writing places Walker at the junction of country, Southern rock and musical comedy. On stage, the persona channels barroom country energy with a seasoned Nashville band, shaped by tours across the U.S., including a 2022 date at the Ryman Auditorium and appearances alongside Tyler Childers, Sturgill Simpson and Nikki Lane.
