Default brings The Fallout 25th Anniversary Tour to Danforth Music Hall in Toronto, Canada, on November 27, 2026. Formed in Vancouver at the end of the 1990s, the band carved out a space between hard rock, post‑grunge and alternative rock: thick guitars, direct melodies and a tense vocal delivery without tipping into metal. First known locally under the name Fallout, they locked in as Default in 2000 around Dallas Smith (vocals), Jeremy Hora (guitar), Dave Benedict (bass) and Danny Craig (drums). Backed early on by Chad Kroeger, they released The Fallout in 2001, then Elocation (2003), One Thing Remains (2005) and Comes and Goes (2009). This anniversary run revisits the era that defined their sound, balancing weight and melody with a focus on hooks and heavy textures.
Sharing the bill, Limblifter adds a Vancouver thread to the night. Launched in the mid‑1990s by Ryan and Kurt Dahle as a side project to The Age of Electric, the band leans into melodic power pop and Canadian alternative rock, built on clear guitars, concise writing and catchy refrains. After the self‑titled debut in 1996 and Bellaclava in 2000, Limblifter evolved under Ryan Dahle’s lead with I/O (2004) and a later return on Pacific Milk (2015), blending 90s indie impulses with a broader, more expansive sound.
