Acid Arab

Born in Paris’s club scene, Acid Arab has for more than ten years been blending electronic machines, voices and modes from the Maghreb, the Middle East and the Mediterranean. Led by Guido Minisky and Hervé Carvalho, the project has forged a hybrid language in which acid lines, percussion and traditional melodies answer one another without hierarchy. With Resonance, their new album, the duo opens a broader chapter: extended compositions, worked textures and production nourished by an outside perspective, always guided by dance, trance and encounter. The accompanying live show foregrounds guest vocalists, particular attention to sound and a constant dialogue between keyboards, drum machines and Oriental ornamentation.

Acid Arab will present this new live show on 7 January 2027 at Le Transbordeur in Villeurbanne. On stage, the group combines electronic grooves, North African rhythms and modal motifs, alternating instrumental passages with sung contributions. The set is designed to circulate energy between club and concert hall, true to their way of articulating musical heritage and the electronic present.
