Info
On 10 November 2026 at Brudenell Social Club, Leeds, lots of hands and sundots share a bill that leans into hushed songwriting, subtle textures and slow-bloom melodies.
lots of hands is the Newcastle–Leeds duo shaped around Billy Woodhouse’s early songs, now written with Elliot Dryden. Between indie folk, bedroom pop, ambient and discreet electronics, they build pieces with looped guitars, murmured ballads and instrumentals that leave space to breathe. First traded long-distance through demos, their writing has moved toward direct co-composition, a shift heard on into a pretty room, released on Fire Talk Records. Live, expect stripped folk sketches threaded with light electronic motifs and clear melodic lines.
From Connecticut, sundots is Drew Collins’ project begun in 2019 and expanded on stage with Jake Fucci, Austin Traver and Nick Restivo. The music sits between freak folk, ambient, slowcore and indie rock, often slow, soft-edged and melodic, where discreet textures carry as much weight as the refrains. Collins’ writing stays very direct, close to a stream of thought, circling youth, attachment and personal change. Honeyspot (2024) refines that approach, keeping the intimate core while giving the songs a fuller group cohesion.
