Winter metal meltdown triple-header.
Girlschool formed in 1975 during the New Wave of British Heavy Metal. The band became closely associated with Motörhead and found success in the early 1980s with a punk-infused metal sound. Today, original members Kim McAuliffe and Denise Dufort lead the group with bassist Olivia Airey.
Raven formed in Newcastle in 1974 with brothers John and Mark Gallagher. Their early NWOBHM releases were influential on speed and thrash metal, and bands such as Metallica and Anthrax have cited them as influences. The current lineup features Mike Heller on drums with the Gallagher brothers.
Alcatrazz return with a lineup featuring founding member Jimmy Waldo, guitarist Joe Stump, and vocalist Giles Lavery (Warlord, Jack Starr, Dragonsclaw). The set combines classic material with newer songs, including music from the album Prior Convictions.
Support comes from Airforce, featuring original Iron Maiden drummer Doug Sampson.
