Originally from the DIY hardcore scene, Coilguns have since developed their own distinctive blend of punk and ecstatic noise rock. The band's history is closely tied to the development of guitarist Jona Nido’s label, Humus Records, which now comprises up to 150 releases by Swiss artists across a wide range of musical styles. While their two previous albums were produced, recorded and mixed entirely in-house, Coilguns traveled with producer Scott Evans in the summer of 2022 to the remote Oceansound Recordings in Norway to record their fourth studio album; the album was subsequently mixed by Grammy-nominated producer Tom Dalgety. The band is known for their raw, uncompromising and euphoric live performances, which enthral both dancing freaks and crowdsurfing eccentrics alike. The concert will take place on 6 December 2026 at 19:00 at Import Export.
