BEN plg arrives at Le Transbordeur in Villeurbanne on November 26, 2026. Born in Villeneuve-d'Ascq and raised in Tourcoing, he has been delivering a Northern rap rooted in reality, blending street storytelling, introspection, hardcore tension and melodic touches. Originally known as Ben l’Oncle Rap, he adopted the name BEN plg as a nod to Pour la gloire and honed a direct, precise lyricism nourished by everyday life. On stage, he alternates between hard-hitting tracks and moments of respite, from "Mauvaise nouvelle" to the "Réalité Rap Musique" series, as well as "Dans nos yeux" and "Parcours accidenté." His recent releases — "J’rêve mieux qu’avant," "Dire je t’aime," "Paraît que les miracles n’existent pas" — set the tone: raw lyrics, vivid imagery, dry rhythms and memorable choruses. The blend of urgent kick drums and restrained melodies is carried by a measured vocal delivery and meticulous attention to detail. After collaborations with Bekar, Georgio, Niro and Zed Yun Pavarotti, BEN plg comes to perform his new tracks and revisit the songs that shaped him.
