Peet

Peet will be at the Métaphone in Oignies on October 16, 2026. A rapper, lyricist and beatmaker from Brussels, he was first noticed as part of the collective Le 77 before carving out a more intimate solo path. His writing, direct and sensitive, draws on personal stories, everyday moments and urban setbacks in which many people recognize themselves. Over productions that blend groove, soul, jazz and touches of funk, he asserts a melodic flow, alternating laid-back verses and sung choruses, while giving the instruments real space.

In concert, Peet alternates introspective pieces and more driving numbers, paying close attention to sonic nuances and the clarity of the text. The albums Mignon (2021) and Todo Bien (2023) established this mix of francophone rap and more pop-leaning openings, a balance the live show extends with an organic feel. The performance emphasizes words, rhythm and a musicality attentive to detail, while maintaining the sense of intimacy that runs through his life stories.
