Selah Sue And The Gallands

On December 17, 2026, at Den Atelier in Luxembourg, Selah Sue joins the father–son duo Stéphane and Elvin Galland for a live set that threads soul warmth, jazz focus and modern production. Rooted in the Gallands’ instrumental universe—organic grooves, contemporary jazz and crisp electronics—the project took shape when Selah Sue laid melodies and lyrics over their tracks, giving the material a song‑first direction with immediate stage impact.

On stage, the trio keeps the dialogue front and center: Stéphane’s nuanced drum craft (Aka Moon, Ibrahim Maalouf), Elvin’s keys and production instincts (Damso, Helena, Manu Katché), and Selah Sue’s distinctive, flexible voice. The set leans on interplay, tight pocket and open harmonies, sliding between soul, reggae, R&B and jazz without settling into one lane.

For this show, the band expands into a full unit: Louise van den Heuvel on bass, Stéphane Galland on drums, Elvin Galland on keys, with Selah Sue up front and backing vocalists Stephanie Rugurika and Judith Okon weaving harmonies. After an early appearance at Jazz Middelheim and with an album in the works, the project arrives at Den Atelier with new material and a live setup honed on stage.
