Hooverphonic is celebrating its thirtieth anniversary with the return to the stage of Noémie Wolfs, a voice that has marked part of the band’s history. On 28 March 2027 at the Rockstore in Montpellier, the founding core reunites its trip-hop and pop machinery with cinematic orchestrations to put Noémie’s singing back at the center of the songs that shaped their identity.
Mad About You will be one of the anticipated highlights, in the interpretation that showcased her range and echoed her notable 2012 performance at the Queen Elisabeth Hall in Antwerp. Anger Never Dies, The Night Before, Amalfi and Gravity are also expected to reclaim their place on a setlist designed for this anniversary chapter.
Between electronic washes, velvety guitars and supple bass lines, Hooverphonic reactivates its contrasts and meticulously crafted melodies, carried by a voice that plays between softness and tension. A live show that links the band’s different eras and underlines Noémie Wolfs’s singular presence.
