Gnoomes are a Russian-born duo now based in Slovenia. Their self-described "stargaze" sound blends krautrock, shoegaze and techno, built around motorik rhythms, pulsing electronics and atmospheric guitar. The project has evolved since early releases like Ngan! and Tschak!, incorporating psychedelic electronics, dance music and experimental pop.
They present their sixth album, Losey, released via Rocket Recordings, at The Lanes, Bristol, on 11 November 2026 at 7:30 pm. Written after relocating from Russia to rural Slovenia, the record draws from acid house, EBM, kosmische music and avant-pop, reflecting themes of isolation, displacement and uncertainty the band describes as "rave as therapy, pop as resistance."
