Ibeyi « Tournée »

On November 13, 2026, at Le 106 in Rouen, Ibeyi returns to the stage with their singular blend of soul, contemporary R&B, downtempo, trip-hop and electronic pop, threaded with Yoruba and Afro‑Cuban rhythms. Born in Paris and connected to Havana through their family history, twins Lisa‑Kaindé and Naomi Díaz shape a live performance in which one’s voice and piano answer the other’s percussion, led by cajón and batá drums. The name Ibeyi, which means “twins” in Yoruba, speaks as much to their identity as to the prominence of that heritage, carried by singing that moves between English, French, Spanish and Yoruba.

On stage, the duo draws from their three albums — Ibeyi (2015), Ash (2017) and Spell 31 (2022) — for a traversal of repertoire marked by spare electronic textures, tight harmonies and inspired percussive patterns. There is the direct songwriting of Spell 31, the broadened palette of Ash and the restraint of their debut, all woven into a concert format that alternates minimal pulses, soaring vocals and ancestral motifs. A set conceived as a dialogue between memory and the present, to be experienced at Le 106 in Rouen on November 13, 2026.
