Beth Hart

On December 1, 2026, Beth Hart will perform at AFAS Live in Amsterdam. The American singer-songwriter from Los Angeles brings her blues-rock—tinged with soul, jazz and gospel—to the stage, with the piano at its core. Since the 1990s Hart has been building a catalogue that balances raw rock tracks with intimate ballads: from Immortal (1996) and Screamin’ for My Supper (1999) to Leave the Light On (2003), 37 Days (2007) and My California (2010). In the 2010s she collaborated extensively with Joe Bonamassa on soul and blues covers such as Don’t Explain (2011), Seesaw (2013) and Black Coffee (2018), while continuing solo with Bang Bang Boom Boom (2012), Better Than Home (2015) and Fire on the Floor (2016). These were followed by War in My Mind (2019) and A Tribute to Led Zeppelin (2022).

Live, Hart’s focus is on voice and storytelling: an expressive delivery with a raw edge, direct melodies and lyrics that straightforwardly name vulnerability, relationships and the cracks in the soul. Her set moves effortlessly between grooving blues, rocking eruptions and piano-accompanied quiet moments, drawing on songs from across her entire repertoire.
