L'Entourloop

On 15 August 2026, L’Entourloop take over Chalk, Brighton. The French beatmakers Sir James and King Johnny have carved a recognisable blend of reggae, hip hop and dancehall, powered by old-school groove and a sound system mindset. Their live show runs on tight samples, scratches and dialogue cuts, with Jamaican riddims driving the pace and rap energy keeping it sharp. Over the years they’ve linked with voices like Skarra Mucci, Tippa Irie, Queen Omega and Biga*Ranx; count on that collaborative spirit on stage, with special guests sliding in and out across the set.

Cinematic and straight to the point, their collage approach turns each track into a scene: bass warm and low, drum patterns clipped and punchy, horns and keys dropping in like cues, then fading to let the MC lines breathe. The flow moves from roots-tinged skank to uptempo bounce without losing the thread, switching breaks into choruses right when the room needs a lift.
