Deaf Havana take over O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire in London on 6 November 2026. Formed in Norfolk in 2005, the band grew out of a post-hardcore start to embrace a more melodic, candid strain of alternative rock after 2010. That pivot runs through Fools and Worthless Liars, a record that reshaped their writing, then Old Souls, All These Countless Nights and Rituals. Now pared back to the brothers James and Matthew Veck-Gilodi, Deaf Havana push a leaner, more direct sound on The Present Is a Foreign Land and 2025’s We’re Never Getting Out, blending punchy guitars with reflective storytelling. A night that traces this arc, with a nod to the album that marked the turn.
With them, The Dangerous Summer bring a Maryland mix of alternative rock, emo and melodic punk. Active since 2006 around AJ Perdomo, they balance driving guitars and clear-cut choruses across a catalogue that spans Reach for the Sun and War Paint to their self-titled return, Mother Nature and Gravity (2024). A solid pairing for anyone into heartfelt rock songs built to hit live.
