The Rasmus bring their darkly melodic rock back to the stage on Tuesday 2 March 2027 at Northumbria Students’ Union, Newcastle upon Tyne. Formed in Helsinki, the band has spent the last decades shaping a sound that blends muscular guitars with sleek electronics and pop-ready hooks. Fronted by Lauri Ylönen, with Eero Heinonen on bass, Aki Hakala on drums and guitarist Emilia Suhonen in the current lineup, they move with ease from brooding atmospheres to punchy choruses built for singalongs.

Expect a set that threads new material from WEIRDO with tracks that mapped their journey, from the shadowy turn of Into to the breakout Dead Letters era and beyond. In the Shadows is likely to collide with fan favourites like No Fear, Guilty or Livin’ in a World Without You, alongside fresher cuts that push their palette forward.
