Good Charlotte brings the Motel Du Cap EU/UK Tour to Forest National in Forest on 13 November 2026. Since 1996, brothers Joel and Benji Madden, together with Paul Thomas and Billy Martin, have been crafting a sound that sits between pop punk, melodic punk and alternative rock. From the early self‑titled debut and The Young and the Hopeless to Youth Authority and Generation Rx: compact hooks, energetic riffs and lyrics that touch on themes like growing up, family ties, fame and mental health. Live, the emphasis is on momentum and sing‑along choruses, with room for both the rawer outbursts and the more pop‑oriented passages from their catalogue.
Also on the bill: Yellowcard. The quartet from Jacksonville puts its own spin on pop punk with Sean Mackin’s violin playing alongside Ryan Mendez’s guitars, with Ryan Key on vocals and Josh Portman on bass. Ocean Avenue brought the band wider attention in 2003; since then Yellowcard has alternated tight hooks with more expansive melodies, recently supplemented by new material. That combination of driving rhythms, violin lines and guitar work gives the set a recognizable profile that sits effortlessly alongside Good Charlotte.
