On 31 January 2027, SiM plays at Patronaat in Haarlem. The Japanese band, full name Silence iz Mine, formed in 2004 around vocalist MAH in Shonan (Kanagawa) and grew into a steady four-piece from 2009 with SHOW-HATE on guitar, SIN on bass and GODRi on drums. Their sound moves between metalcore, nu metal and alternative rock, with clear influences from ska punk, reggae rock, dub and hip-hop. Heavy riffs and syncopated grooves collide with choruses that reach for melody.

After their debut Silence iz Mine (2008) the group found its shape on Seeds of Hope (2011), broadened its horizons with Pandora (2013) and The Beautiful People (2016), and continued with Thank God, There Are Hundreds of Ways to Kill Enemies (2020), the EP Beware (2022) and Playdead (2023). SiM has played Japanese venues such as Budokan and Yokohama Arena and appeared internationally at Ozzfest meets Knotfest, alongside acts like Coldrain and One OK Rock. With The Rumbling (2022) and Under the Tree (2023), linked to the anime Attack on Titan, the band also reached a new audience.

Live, SiM rely on that mix of aggression and melody: compact songs, tight breaks and plenty of groove. Expect a set that weaves old and new material together without losing momentum.
