Skip the Use « Love & Anxiety Tour »

On January 21, 2027, at Le 106 in Rouen, Skip The Use arrives with the Love & Anxiety Tour. Formed in 2007 around Matt Bastard, the band built a forward-driving sound where rock meets punk and electro. With Yann Stefani on guitar, Jay Gimenez on bass, Lio Rapsaert on keyboards and Manamax Catteloin on drums, Skip The Use established itself with a self-titled debut album in 2009, followed by Can Be Late in 2012 and the Rock Album of the Year Victoire in 2013. Since then the quintet has been touring extensively and honing a performance conceived for the stage.

On this new tour, Skip The Use alternates between new material and standout tracks. Nervy riffs, taut rhythms, electrifying keyboards and a direct vocal style make up a compact, no-frills set. The band gets straight to the point, relying on collective energy and choruses built to be sung back. In Rouen, Skip The Use presents Love & Anxiety in a tightened format, true to their live DNA: efficient, precisely played songs for a concert that’s experienced in the moment.
