On 21 October 2026 at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht, Freya Ridings takes centre stage. The London singer-songwriter builds her songs around piano and guitar, sitting between pop, folk and soul, with space for silence and a voice that remains refreshingly direct. After early singles like "Blackout" and "Lost Without You" came live sessions from St Pancras and Omeara, the EP You Mean the World to Me and her self-titled debut featuring "Castles." With Blood Orange (2023) she continues that line: production slightly broader, emotion kept compact — material that lingers live without fuss.
Also on the bill: Amber Run from Nottingham. Once started as a five-piece, they are now the trio centred on Joe Keogh, Tom Sperring and Henry Wyeth. Their indie rock and alt-pop blend melodic guitars with wide keyboards and multi-part harmonies, favouring tension arcs that unfold gently. From 5am (2015) via For A Moment, I Was Lost (2017) and Philophobia (2019) to How To Be Human (2023), the band pursues a balance between contemplative ballads and more direct guitar work — a setup that on stage shifts smoothly between intimacy and impact.
