Brooklyn-based rockers TVOD feature emotional, sometimes juvenile lyrics, paired with driving songs that get a crowd moving and moshing. Influenced by post-punk, egg punk and krautrock, TVOD weave musical genres. The brainchild of singer-songwriter Tyler Wright, the project draws from personal and external inspirations like the nightlife and music scene, heartaches, World War II, and the untimely death of a beloved pet fish. TVOD’s vivid storytelling paints a tongue-in-cheek picture of being a DIY artist in NYC, with tales about the degenerate lifestyle and all the good and the bad that come with it.
