Juls presents: « Blacktronica » - Jazz Cafe Residency

Juls anchors a run of late-summer Fridays with Blacktronica, a residency built around A Perfect Summer and dedicated to Black club music in all its forms. At the Jazz Cafe in London on 7 August 2026, the British-Ghanaian producer and DJ threads Afrobeats, Amapiano, Afro-Latin and Caribbean currents with the fluency that has marked his path between London and Accra. Known for mid-tempo grooves and clean melodic lines, he approaches the dancefloor as a curator as much as a beat-maker, drawing connections across the diaspora.

Fresh from projects with artists ranging from Lauryn Hill to Burna Boy, and following the ripple of his album Sounds of My World, this residency extends the terrain he’s been mapping through releases like Leap of Faith, Colour and Palmwine Diaries, Vol. 1. Each date spotlights a different corner of that map, with Juls at the centre, inviting guests and collaborators into his orbit. Support across the series is hand-picked by Juls and will be announced in the lead-up.
