Handson Family roll out their Heritage Stage at Fox & Firkin in London on 28 June 2026, with the full crew and special guests Wookie and Stush. A line-up built for groove and bass, where live vocals, tight selections and MC energy cross paths all day.
Jason Chue, known as Wookie, helped shape the late-90s UK garage sound, blending R&B melody, swung drums and supple basslines. From Scrappy and Battle to his Exemen work, he navigates garage, broken rhythms and soulful edges with a producer’s ear and a DJ’s timing, keeping the floor moving without losing the detail.
Stush steps in on the mic with a patois-laced delivery that cuts clean through 2-step, grime and dancehall-leaning beats. Quick on the switch between hooks and sharp bars, she lifts the energy and keeps the pressure up where it counts.
Mr Thing digs deep into hip-hop, classic breaks and needlepoint blends. LyricL threads spoken word and rap with jazz and broken beat accents. Vanessa Freeman brings warmth and control on vocals, adding a soul current to the set. Handson Family connect the dots as residents, steering between house, garage, broken beat and soul to give the Heritage Stage its shape and pulse.
