Xandria

Xandria returns to the stage in Lyon on 29 September 2026 at Rock n’Eat, 32 Quai Arloing. Founded in Bielefeld around Marco Heubaum, the band cultivates a form of symphonic metal that blends melodic guitars, keyboards and expansive orchestrations, with a female voice that is now less operatic. Since their beginnings in the early 2000s, the group established its landmarks with Kill the Sun, Ravenheart, India and Salomé, before refocusing from Neverworld’s End and Sacrificium on a more assertive aesthetic, continued by Theater of Dimensions.

Back in 2022 with a new line-up and singer Ambre Vourvahis, Xandria released The Wonders Still Awaiting in 2023, which serves as the foundation for a live show that interweaves classics and newer songs. On stage, the band draws from its entire discography and plays on contrasts: atmospheric passages, orchestral sections and forceful riffs. Between a gothic inheritance and symphonic drive, this concert highlights the evolution of a project that has remained true to Heubaum’s compositions and that has toured with Epica, Kamelot and Delain.
