Bleech 9:3

Bleech 9:3 bring their taut, melodic alt rock to Heartbreakers in Southampton on 21 May 2026. Between Dublin roots and a Brixton base, the quartet took shape around songwriters Barry Quinlan and Sam Duffy, joined by James Quinlan on bass and Luke O’Neill on drums. On stage, they play the push-and-pull between restraint and release: clean, direct melodies rubbing up against dense, saturated guitars, with a rhythm section that keeps the tension tight.

Their writing leans on a visual, introspective vein that feeds both lyrics and presence, letting the set move from hushed detail to full-bore impact without losing focus. Early singles Ceiling and Jacky marked their first steps while they cut their teeth on London stages, opening for Shame and Keo and holding a three-night residency at the Blue Basement. Live, the arrangements stay lean, guitars cut then swell, and vocals carry hooks without sanding off the edges. A night built on contrast, clarity and noise, shaped by a close-knit unit that plays for the room.
