Info
On 11 November 2026, Mae Stephens plays Clwb Ifor Bach in Cardiff. The Kettering-born singer-songwriter has shaped a direct pop sound that blends bright melodies, light funk inflections and clean electronic touches. She started self-releasing in 2020 under her name Anna Mae Kelly before switching to Mae Stephens for early tracks like Infamous Kiss and White Lies. Her breakthrough arrived when clips of If We Ever Broke Up spread online ahead of its 2023 release, leading to a deal with EMI. Since then she has widened her palette, from the groove-led Jungle with Alok and The Chainsmokers to a feature alongside Meghan Trainor on Mr Right. In 2024 she drew a line under this first chapter with the EP Securely Insecure, carried by Small Town Syndrome and a run of short, personal songs with sharp hooks.
Live in Cardiff, she brings that mix to the stage: tight, chorus-forward pop, bass-friendly grooves and a few detours into dance-leaning territory, pulling from the early singles, the EP highlights and her latest collaborations.
