Info
On 27 September 2026 at the Secret Place in Saint-Jean-de-Védas, Xandria, Tulip and Seven Spires bring together three complementary visions of symphonic metal.
XANDRIA
With the arrival of Ambre Vourvahis, whose range spans operatic singing to growls, the German band has redefined its balance between power and orchestral arrangements. The Wonders Still Awaiting (2023) and the EP Universal Tales (2024) confirm this direction, combining cinematic flights, melodic riffs and expansive keyboards. The set moves between new compositions and milestones from their history, from Ravenheart to more recent tracks, relying on polished storytelling and pronounced contrasts.
TULIP
Based in Texas, Tulip delivers modern symphonic metal threaded with groove and dark atmospheres. Ashleigh Semkiw’s voice alternates between clean lines and rougher attacks, while the songs progress in tableaux, playing on tension and space. The trio tightens the essentials around guitar, drums and vocals, for a dense, cinematic and direct sound.
SEVEN SPIRES
Formed in Boston around Adrienne Cowan and Jack Kosto, Seven Spires crosses symphonic, power and melodic death metal, with touches of black metal. Clean vocals and extreme registers coexist in service of narrative songwriting, exemplified by the recent A Fortress Called Home (2024). Orchestrations, incisive riffs and melodic choruses structure a repertoire where contrast remains the driving force.
