Basement brings its UK-bred mix of emo tension and grunge weight to Danforth Music Hall in Toronto on November 11, 2026. Formed in the late 2000s around Andrew Fisher, Alex Henery and James Fisher, the band has built a sound where clear melodies cut through thick, distorted guitars, with an energy that nods to melodic hardcore. Early releases like Songs About the Weather and I Wish I Could Stay Here set the tone, while Colourmeinkindness pushed dynamics and a more upfront vocal drive. After a pause, Further Sky marked their return, followed by Promise Everything in 2016, reissued in 2017 after signing with Fueled By Ramen, and the more structured Beside Myself in 2018.
