ShitKid

ShitKid, the project helmed by Swedish musician Åsa Söderqvist, cuts through lo-fi rock with a mix of garage grit, off-kilter pop and punk edges. Launched in 2016 with the single "Oh Please Be A Cocky Cool Kid" and a self-titled EP on PNKSLM Recordings, the project defined its line early: raw, home-recorded takes, stripped structures, talk-sung vocals and hooks rubbed against rough textures. The first album, Fish (2017), pushed a minimal grunge streak, followed by This Is It (2018) and Detention (2019), leaning further into punk and bedroom rock contours. In 2020 came Duo Limbo / Mellan himmel å helvete, a collaboration with Melvins, then 20/20 ShitKid, folding direct songs into more exploratory detours.

On 13 September 2026 at Stereo, Glasgow, ShitKid brings that DIY voltage to the stage, shifting between short, sharp tracks and skewed pop sketches. The set draws across the catalogue, balancing taut rhythms, blown-out tones and a dry, half-spoken delivery. Special guests join for the night.
