Minneapolis quintet she’s green bring their self-described moss music to Rough Trade Bristol on 1 September 2026. Drawing as much from the worlds of J.R.R. Tolkien and Hayao Miyazaki as from Slowdive or Cocteau Twins, they shape a dreamy, tactile sound where shoegaze density meets clear, unguarded melodies. Liam Armstrong, Zofia Smith, Raines Lucas, Kevin Seebeck and Teddy Nordvold build songs like small ecosystems: layers of gauzy guitars, bass that anchors and distorts, drums that surge and recede, voices that hover and blur.

In 2023 the band introduced themselves with the EP Wisteria, featuring Mandy, then pushed the spectrum further with Chrysalis in 2025. The newer tracks lean into contrasts, setting rough, buzzing edges against warmer passages without losing the directness of their writing. On stage, she’s green expand those dynamics, letting the noise bloom before clearing space for hooks to surface, threading Wisteria and Chrysalis into a set that feels both immediate and quietly transportive.
