Filipino-American singer and songwriter ((( O ))), aka June Marieezy, writes hushed, pared-back songs that drift between soul, alt-pop and folk, with downtempo textures and a light, unforced voice. After growing up in Dallas and moving to Manila in 2008, she studied music and found her footing on the city’s scene before taking her intimate songwriting across Asia and Europe, from Malasimbo to Hong Kong, London and Malaysia. Many listeners discovered her through FKJ, with Fly and Vibin’ Out with ((( O ))), the latter appearing on his 2017 album French Kiwi Juice. Since 2018 she has been sharing “moondrops,” tracks released on full moons that map a steady practice and an organic sound palette. On 12 June 2026 at Gorilla in Manchester, she brings that approach to the stage: elastic guitar lines, warm electronics, close-up vocals and unhurried grooves, letting space shape the songs. A set built on feel and detail, reconnecting studio sketches with live edges.
