Skinshape plays EartH Hall in London on 14 May 2026. The studio project of British musician and producer William Dorey, Skinshape is all about warm, analog textures and a taste for deep, unhurried grooves. Dorey writes and records almost everything himself, blending 60s/70s funk and reggae with soul, psychedelic rock, Afrobeat, folk and the grain of classic library music. His tracks lean on supple basslines, hazy guitars and roomy arrangements that invite you in without rushing the mood.
A former bassist with Palace and founder of the reggae imprint Horus Records, Dorey has built a rich catalogue over the years, from the early self-titled Skinshape and Oracolo to Life & Love, Filoxiny, Umoja, Arrogance Is the Death of Men and Nostalgia. On stage, his set threads these releases into a fluid journey that shifts between introspective drift and steady, hypnotic pulse. Special guests join the bill for this EartH date.
