Info
On 24 May 2026 at MOTH Club, London, Lone Assembly step in with a Swiss take on new wave, romantic synthpop and dark post-punk. Formed by Raphaël Bressler (vocals, keyboards), Glenn Le Meur (guitar), Jim Bodeman (bass) and Romain Segu (drums), the quartet builds songs on marked basslines, cold guitars and a melodic, melancholic pull. Their 2024 debut EP, That Never Happened, set the tone with themes of grief, distance and vulnerability, pairing 80s cold-wave textures with a sharp, contemporary production. The material from their first album Knots & Chains, released in 2026, pushes that tension further, threading stark rhythms with more sensitive synth layers.
Ro Nova is a London-based electropop artist blending 80s-leaning synths with airy vocals and crisp beats. A singer, songwriter and producer, she writes direct melodies and builds hazy atmospheres without tipping into pastiche. Since her debut single 'do you think it's fine?', her tracks have picked up support across UK radio, from BBC Radio 1 and BBC London to Reprezent, with nods from Harriet Rose (KISS FM) and James Threlfall (BBC Introducing). Concise hooks, dream-pop hues and a modern synthpop drive sit neatly alongside Lone Assembly's darker edge.
