Pacifica

Pacifica brings its Argentina-rooted alt-rock to Rough Trade Bristol on 13 May 2026, with special guests. The duo — Inés Adam and Martina Nintzel — formed in 2021 after a listener asked them to record a song together. They first surfaced online with covers of early-2000s rock, including The Strokes, then moved toward their own material. Their sound leans on taut guitars and uncluttered arrangements, drawing on garage and indie textures from that era while keeping the songs direct and melodic.

In September 2023, Pacifica released Freak Scene, a debut album that fixed the urgency of their writing and introduced a set of concise, hook-driven tracks. From there, the pair took their music across South America, North America and Europe. On stage, Adam and Nintzel trade riffs and voices with a no-frills approach that keeps the focus on songcraft and momentum. Bristol gets a snapshot of that evolution at Rough Trade Bristol, with new material sitting alongside the cuts that shaped their identity.
