Laurence Jones « On My Own » UK Tour 2027

Award-winning blues-rock artist Laurence Jones comes to The Platform on 17 April 2027 with his debut solo acoustic 'On My Own' tour, returning to his roots: pure blues.

The award-winning blues artist from Liverpool has opened for Ringo Starr, Sir Van Morrison, Jeff Beck, Johnny Winter, Walter Trout and Status Quo. After joining Buddy Guy on stage to jam and experience the blues first-hand, Buddy remarked, "He's like a young Eric Clapton."

Laurence has released his first-ever solo acoustic album. On My Own is an intimate record that explores recent health struggles and takes him back to his roots.

Despite his health challenges, Jones continues to add to a career that includes British Blues Awards, over 50,000 albums sold worldwide, and a #1 album in the Official UK Jazz & Blues Chart. This time, however, the focus is less on charts and accolades and more on telling his story through stripped-down, heartfelt blues.

The opening act is Amy Eftekhari, a singer-songwriter from Nottingham. Amy is known for her honest approach to songwriting. Her music combines vulnerability with strength and authenticity. On her debut EP, "All the Words", she brings these qualities together.
