Kiesza

On June 4, 2026, Kiesza lands at King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow with a set built on 90s house foundations, sharp pop writing and a club-first pulse. Calgary-born Kiesa Rae Ellestad forged an atypical path through dance training and a stint in the Canadian Navy before focusing on music between Canada, London and New York. Her breakout single Hideaway in 2014 opened the way to the debut album Sound of a Woman, where synth-led ballads meet dance tracks. Along the way, she has written for others and teamed up with names from Jack Ü to Duran Duran, keeping a strong link with electronic scenes on both sides of the Atlantic.

After a serious car accident in 2017, Kiesza stepped back, then rebuilt her momentum and returned with Crave in 2020, a record that leans inward without losing its pop clarity or dancefloor drive. On stage, she threads hooky toplines, rubbery basslines and clean rhythmic builds, drawing on her dancer’s precision to keep the energy focused.
