The Early November and Hellogoodbye bring two chapters of the 2000s emo/pop story to Brudenell Social Club in Leeds on 14 October 2026.
The Early November, founded in New Jersey in 2001, arrive with Ace Enders and Jeff Kummer at the core and a self-titled seventh album that connects where they started to where they’re headed. It’s a moment of definition for the duo, folding past, present and future into a tight frame. On stage, expect their emo-rooted rock to move between intimate corners and sharper bursts, guitars circling Enders’ voice and Kummer’s steady drive, with melodies that keep a pop sensibility without losing the grit.
Hellogoodbye, the ever-shifting project led by Forrest Kline, began in the pop punk and emo orbit before leaning into a more melodic indie pop. From the bright synths and singalongs of the 2004 EP and Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs! to the more guitar-centered Would It Kill You?, then Everything Is Debatable and S’Only Natural, the band has refined warm harmonies, keys and an easy, flexible groove. Live, that arc blends upbeat nostalgia with a lighter, more introspective pop craft.
