Info
Jungle land at Cardiff International Arena, Cardiff, on 22 November 2026. Formed in London around childhood friends Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland, the collective has grown from a tight studio project into a full live outfit. On stage, their modern soul leans into funk and disco with a light psychedelic tint and crisp electronic production: supple basslines, pointed rhythms, and falsetto vocals layered into choral hooks. Across the albums Jungle (2014), For Ever (2018), Loving in Stereo (2021) and Volcano (2023), the duo sharpened a more direct, melodic writing style without losing those circular grooves that drive their shows. Expect a set built on interplay between voices, percussion, keys and guitars, arranged for movement and momentum, with the group’s visual sense echoing the pulse of the music.
Opening the night, RIO KOSTA brings a West Coast twist to psychedelic pop. The Los Angeles duo blends hazy harmonies, sun-warped guitars and analog-tinged synths into songs that drift then lock into steady, hypnotic patterns. A warm-up that threads dreamy textures with steady beats, setting up Jungle’s groove-first approach.
