Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox brings The Future Is Vintage Tour 2026 to Watford Colosseum in Watford on 15 May 2026. Led by pianist and arranger Scott Bradlee, the collective flips contemporary pop, hip-hop and R&B into styles from earlier eras: swing, ragtime, doo-wop, soul and big band. What began online now lives on stage with a rotating cast of singers and musicians, each voice and timbre shaping the arrangements in a different way.

The set revisits familiar hooks with upright piano, brass, drums and close harmonies, turning chart staples into vintage standards without losing their rhythm or edge. The repertoire moves across decades with ease, from crooner moods to Motown shuffles and speakeasy swing. It’s less nostalgia than translation: current hits reimagined as if they’d been cut on shellac, guided by solid musicianship and a taste for retro textures. PMJ’s live format leaves room for solos, call-and-response and playful dynamics, so every version feels tailored to the moment while staying true to the song at its core.
