Info
Barry Manilow returns to the stage in Liverpool with Manilow – The Last Last Concert on 13 June 2026 at Liverpool Arena. A Brooklyn-born pianist, arranger and songwriter, he first cut his teeth on New York stages, in advertising and Off-Broadway before stepping forward as a solo artist. Early on he wrote jingles, served as musical director, and worked closely with Bette Midler, experiences that shaped his taste for strong melodies, structured refrains and piano-led ballads.
His 1970s albums Barry Manilow II, Tryin’ to Get the Feeling, This One’s for You and Even Now set the tone for a blend of orchestrated pop, adult contemporary and soft rock. Alongside his own records, he has written and produced for others, including Dionne Warwick and Nancy Wilson. The following decades saw him explore themed projects, from the late-night jazz feel of 2:00 AM Paradise Cafe to albums of standards and musical theatre. With lasting ties to Broadway and long-running Las Vegas residencies, Manilow brings a live set that moves from intimate piano moments to fuller arrangements, tracing a catalogue built for the stage.
